The Traveller Pride National Concert 2025 is coming to The Complex. Empowering the Future: The Next Generation of Irish Travellers.

The Complex welcomes this momentous occasion to launch Traveller Pride Week.

The concert showcases a wide array of leading musicians, singers and poets and highlights the immense and diverse talents of the Travelling community.

The stellar lineup is headlined by master piper and fiddler player Mickey Dunne of the renowned musical Dunne family, his daughter, fiddle player and singer Niamh Dunne of Beoga fame and her husband Seán Óg Graham, who recently joined the Bothy Band for their reunion tour.

The Trio will be joined on stage by piper Johnny Purcell, grandson of the famous Johnny Doran, who is travelling over from London, especially for the occasion, and William Dundon, who will be on accordion and vocals.

Other highlights include singer/songwriter Katie Theasby, guitarist and singer Marty Barry (grandson of Margaret Barry), Trish Reilly and singers Kathleen Keenan, Rosie McCarthy and Tom and Felix Doran. Readings include acclaimed poets Helen Hutchinson and Johnny Collins.

Traveller Pride Week celebrates and promotes the Traveller community’s unique contribution to Irish society while combating the discrimination and prejudice Travellers face.

The event takes place in The Depot at The Complex—a unique multi-purpose warehouse space in the heart of the city.
