GETTING HERE
We are delighted to invite you to visit our Arts Centre in the heart of Dublin. The Complex’s exciting programme and calendar of events run alongside bustling and active studios, which bring our old fruit & veg warehouses in Smithfield alive with cultural activities and passionate exchange.
The Complex is a multi-disciplinary arts centre in Dublin City Centre. Based on the edge of Smithfield in the Market Area, situated across from Dublin’s old Victorian Fruit and Vegetable Market on Arran St. East and is just off Capel Street and the Luas line.
The Complex is comprised of two distinct entrances, one for the Gallery and Studios and the second for the main events space, The Depot and The Cooler operated by The Improvised Music Company (IMC) on the second floor.


PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The Complex is located in central Dublin just off Capel St. We are well connect to public transport lying just 4 minutes away from the Jervis St Luas stop. The nearest bus stops are located on the quays and serve routes 4, 39, 52, 60, 69, 845 C1-C6, with the 83 and 83A stopping on nearby Church St.

PARKING
​During the day, a small gated Dublin City Council car park can be accessed on Marys' Lane around the corner, at standard rates, but closes at 9pm. Jervis Shopping Centre Car Park is also close by, with varying opening hours, often closing at 9pm. Some street parking is available nearby, often free after 7pm - days and rates vary, please check signs.
ACCESSIBILITY
​The Depot at The Complex performance space is accessed through the main lobby on Mary's Abbey, with one flight of stairs. This route may be difficult to access for patrons with mobility issues. The venue is also accessible by a short ramp through another entrance at Mary's Abbey. No prior notice is required, but is welcome. Please make yourself known at the main reception should you need to access the alternative route.

Gender-neutral toilet facilities are available inside The Depot (subject to change by event organisers) and a wheelchair accessible bathroom with baby-changing facilities.

The Cooler is located via the main entrance on Mary's Abbey, but the venue is up two flights of stairs which may cause difficulty for those with mobility issues.
​
The Gallery is accessed through 21 - 25 Arran St. East and is accessed through a large open shutter without any steps. The Gallery, on occasion, is accessed through a door beside the shutter with one small step; however, the main shutter may be openable for access should this be required (subject to the event organisers' discretion)
There are two bathrooms in The Gallery, both gender-neutral, one is wheelchair accessible with baby changing facilities.

GUIDE DOGS
Guide Dogs are permitted and welcomed in The Gallery and The Depot. Please inform our Box office team if you will be accompanied by a Guide Dog.
