Following a Public Meeting on the 11th of December, 2025, a collective decision was made to hold a rally on Wednesday, the 17th of December at noon.

A community-organised banner-making workshop was held in advance of the rally. Banners featured slogans such as "Feed Culture, Not Vultures" and "Save Our Studios".
Starting on the terrace at The Depot, 12 Mary's Abbey, hundreds of people marched to Dáil Éireann to deliver a petition started by Save The Arts. The petition reached 15,724 signatures on the morning of delivery and has now surpassed 16,500.
Following impassioned public speeches from Artistic Director Vanessa Fielding and various studio artists, the petition was delivered to Minister Jack Chambers.
The rally was attended by studio artists, Praxis Union, representatives across the political spectrum, from People Before Profit to Fianna Fáil, workers of The Complex and various other supporters.
