As visitors to The Complex, you might be familiar with some, or all of our event spaces - The Depot, The Gallery, or The Cooler might be your hangout of choice, but for all attendees, the Front of House is the first point of contact between you and the diverse venue behind those glass doors at 12 Mary's Abbey. Therefore, we thought it apt to begin our new series honing in on the spaces of The Complex, and the people who make them run as smoothly as they do, with Front of House!
Anyone who's visited The Complex will be familiar with Simon Fennessy Corcoran, Front of House and Studio Manager. He's always the first friendly face to greet guests, answer any questions they may have and make their event experience the best it can be. He's also single-handedly refreshed the decór of the bar just outside the Depot, which you'll see in the images below.
Beyond an entryway into the event, Front of House often functions as a place for guests to mingle before and after performances. Here, audiences can see more of Simon's decoration with posters highlighting the best of The Complex's past events from city stalwarts like Slaughterhouse, Dublin Fringe Festival, and Dublin Modular.
Speaking of the bar, Simon's team like Thiago and Sol (click below to see them model The Complex's t-shirts), always keep the welcoming atmosphere going for guests.
