Last Saturday night, the highly-anticipated National Lottery Good Causes Awards 2024 were held in the elegant surroundings of Killashee House Hotel in Kildare.

Hosted by Marty Whelan, the TV legend was joined onstage by a star-studded lineup including Daithí Ó Sé, author and radio presenter Anna Geary, advocate and founder of Empower the Family Deborah Somorin, architect and TV presenter Hugh Wallace, and dancing sensation Arthur Gourounlian.

35 exceptional organisations and community groups from across Ireland were celebrated on the night with Hand in Hand Children's Cancer Charity from Galway named Good Cause of the Year on the night. The group has been providing tailor-made practical and emotional support to families dealing with a cancer diagnosis, free of charge, since 2006.

The Complex, nominated in the Arts & Culture category, were well represented on the night by Managing Director Vanessa Fielding and Director of Finance & Operations Annie Lynott. The Complex were delighted to be nominated alongside fantastic organisations like Tramp Press, Kid's Own Publishing Partnership, Réalta Waterford, and, the winners of the night - Helium Arts.
