From Friday 16 - Sunday 18th August, The Complex played host to Kino-D's weekend film-making kabaret - the group's biggest event to date!
Kicking things off with a workshop hosted by IFTA-winning director, writer, and producer Terry McMahon, attendees were later invited to pitch their ideas to the group and begin the process of forming partnerships and rehearsing the short films.
Saturday was shoot day, with cast and crew collaborating on their projects from 9am to late that evening, ahead of the screening on Sunday evening.
Overall the weekend was a resounding success, with over 120 film-makers of all levels of experience attending, chatting, sharing skills and creating 38 short films by the showcase on Sunday!
