Senator Marie Sherlock invites all creatives and those who support the Arts to discuss what changes are needed to grow artists' spaces.

The senator says "Over the past 15 years in Dublin, we have seen a hollowing out of many arts spaces in our city with the loss of over 50 artists studios and performance spaces. These closures have represented a serious blow to the cultural fabric and energy of our city and while a number of new and exciting places have also emerged during this time, the overall context is one of uncertainty and lack of security for our artists spaces.Â
We strongly believe we need to see specific action from both local authorities and Government. We have been working on a series of proposals and we want to discuss what needs to change to better support artists spaces and artists livelihoods."
Meeting is open to all with all creatives and those who supports the Arts.
