Fine Art Giveaway | Lee Welch

To mark the opening of Oedipus, a new exhibition by Lee Welch, some limited-edition lithographic prints will be given away across selected days.

Featured: love and its shadows (2025), lithographic print on Somerset Satin 300gsm, one of 20 + 2 A/P. €100 retail value.

Welch’s homage to Munch’s Vampyr II continues his exploration of affect, authorship, and the psychological residue of images. In revisiting Munch, Welch invokes not only a visual language, but a sensibility—attuned to repetition, doubling, and the emotional charge of reinterpretation.

Official Rules & Terms:

1. Eligibility

• Open to individuals aged 18 or older.

• Participants must collect the print from The Gallery before the end of the exhibition.

• Employees or immediate family of The Complex or Lee Welch are not eligible.

• No purchase necessary.

2. Entry Method

To enter each giveaway:

• Follow @_leewelch_ and @complexdublin on Instagram.

• Share the designated giveaway post by @complexdublin to your Instagram Story and tag @complexdublin and @_leewelch_

• Entries are valid only for the specific giveaway days and times mentioned and must be shared during the entry period (12:00 AM to 11:59 PM IST).

• Participants can enter each of the giveaways but can only win once.

• Multiple shares of the same Story do not count as additional entries.

3. Giveaway Period

• Campaign runs from May 20, 2025, at midnight IST to June 13, 2025, at 11:59 PM IST.

• Giveaways occur on the specified days only.

• Shares outside the designated entry period are invalid.

4. Prize Details

• One winner per giveaway day (12 total) receives one limited-edition litho print from Lee Welch, valued at €100.

• Prints may vary.

• Prizes are non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

• One winner is randomly selected per giveaway day from participants who shared and tagged the Story, using a randomiser tool.

• Winners are contacted via Instagram DM within 24 hours and must respond within 72 hours to claim their prize.

• If a winner doesn’t respond or is ineligible, an alternate may be selected.

• Participants can only win once.

6. General Conditions

• Participants agree to these rules and The Complex’s decisions, which are final.

• The Complex may disqualify violators or fraudulent entries.

7. Instagram Compliance

• Not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram.

• Entrants release Instagram from liability.

8. Privacy

• Information (e.g., Instagram handle, contact for prize delivery) is used only for the giveaway and not shared, except for prize fulfilment.
