About this event
Meeting Another explores human connections, encounters of the other and the unknown. In this interactive dance piece, each audience member will be paired with a dancer, and will journey through the space together. The audience member is presented with choices and the dancer will create a performance in real time for the audience member in response to the choices made. Through sight, sound and speech we increase both the audience’s and our own ability to empathize with a stranger. The creation and dissemination of Meeting Another has been supported by DYDC Resilience Award, Arts Council Ireland, DLR Coco. Arts Office, Debbie Allen Dance School, Kultur Stadt Bern, Burgergemeide Bern, GVB Kulturstiftung, Gesellschaft zu Ober-Gerwern.
