The Complex is excited to be the chosen home for JAIVA AfroDance Festival 2025, a powerful celebration of Afro dance, culture, and community set to take place right here in the heart of Dublin.

This August, for three unforgettable days, JAIVA is set to light up The Complex with rhythm, energy, and community spirit. Bringing together a stellar mix of Afro dance artists from Ireland and around the world, the festival welcomes everyone from curious first-timers to seasoned pros.

Expect a full experience: hands-on workshops, thrilling dance battles, dynamic showcases, cultural conversations, delicious food, irresistible music, and the legendary Afro Block Party. It’s a space to connect, share in the richness of Afro dance culture, and celebrate styles like Naija, Ndombolo, Azonto, Afrohouse, Amapiano, Coupé Décalé, and beyond.

The weekend will include:

• 8 Afro Dance Workshops with international and Irish artists

• Dance Battles: 1v1 Afro, 3v3 All Style, and 2v2 Afro

• Evening Showcases and the Afro Block Party
