Founded in 2017 by Matthew Melis and The Comics Lab of the Stray Lines collective, DCAF was created to spotlight local comic talent and celebrate the rich diversity of Irish sequential art. While the small press comic scene in Ireland has been steadily growing, many Irish creators have had to travel far and wide to take part in Comic Arts Festivals. DCAF was born from the belief that it was time to bring those festivals closer to home.

The Complex is delighted to welcome Dublin Comic Arts Festival (DCAF) back to The Depot following a hugely successful debut. The second of four events scheduled for 2025 takes place on Sunday, 13 July, from 11am to 5pm. Free entry, no booking necessary.

With the expanded space at The Complex, DCAF has returned to a single-day format, bringing together 100 exhibitors in one day.
