St. Patrick's Festival & Hidden Agenda present 25 YEARS OF D1 RECORDINGS

For as long as there has been dance music in Dublin, there has been techno. Our love affair with the genre runs as deep today as it did back in the day when Eamonn Doyle decided to start his own label out of his flat in the depths of Dublin 1. With the launch of D1 Recordings, Eamonn began a journey that lead him to make music, run clubs, citywide festivals and prove it possible to create world class music with a DIY ethic.

Eamonn’s maverick approach is the stuff of legend but rather than let it go untold, St. Patrick’s Festival, D1 Recordings, Hidden Agenda, Hen's Teeth and Various Artists are proud to curate a series of open-to-all events and collaborative music and design projects to mark 25 years of D1 Recordings and its impact on the city, its dance floors, musicians and all those touched by D1’s vision and ambition across the globe, taking place in Hen's Teeth Gallery across the weekend. The celebration will culminate at The Complex with a full night of live electronic performances plus DJs on Sunday 17th March, to coincide with the D1 25th anniversary album release, a 6 piece vinyl boxset featuring 55 new tracks from 45 Irish & International artists.
