MISSION STATEMENT
Complex Youth Theatre works with young people in all arts disciplines to create new and original theatre. It provides a wide range of structures that encourage the personal and professional growth of its members through emancipatory workshops, development of the imagination and creative writing, with the emphasis on individual creativity and freedom of expression through performance. It aims to promote excellence in theatre practice and deliver a high quality process and outcomes. It offers an open selection process and is an equal opportunities employer.

IN PRODUCTION
CYT are recruiting! New Member Recruitment Workshops take place on Sunday 11th October 2020 at 11am and 2pm. Workshops will be entirely compliant with public health guidelines and numbers are limited. To book a place or for further information contact Anthony
WORKSHOPS
Complex Youth meet every Sunday for an introductory workshop in the morning and a more advanced drama workshop in the afternoon. The afternoon workshop works towards the annual performance piece in July.
PAST PRODUCTION
2019
DUBS
A group of young housing activists take over the house of ‘The Dead’, where John Houston filmed the iconic film, based on James Joyce’s short story. Their mission is to highlight the growing housing crisis in Dublin and its detrimental effects.

Her Eyes They Shone Like Diamonds. This piece has been devised in a collaborative transnational project with Junkshop Theatre Company, Nottingham.
AUDITIONS
There are currently 24 members of Complex Youth Theatre aged between 14 and 19 years. Auditions for a new intake is Sunday 11th October 2020 at 11am and 2pm
