Due to Covid delays Complex Youth Theatre is unable to restart in 2021. Keep an eye on our social media for a call for auditions in 2022.

MISSION STATEMENT

​

Complex Youth Theatre works with young people in all arts disciplines to create new and original theatre. It provides a wide range of structures that encourage the personal and professional growth of its members through emancipatory workshops, development of the imagination and creative writing, with the emphasis on individual creativity and freedom of expression through performance. It aims to promote excellence in theatre practice and deliver a high quality process and outcomes. It offers an open selection process and is an equal opportunities employer.

WORKSHOPS

CYT have remained active during lockdown and continue to meet remotely every Sunday! During these sessions we have fun, learn about theatre and work on ‘It Hasn’t Gone Away You Know…’.

PAST PRODUCTIONS

2019

DUBS

A group of young housing activists take over the house of ‘The Dead’, where John Houston filmed the iconic film, based on James Joyce’s short story. Their mission is to highlight the growing housing crisis in Dublin and its detrimental effects.
