NEW STUDIO ARTIST: RÓ REID

The Complex welcomes new studio artist Ró Reid.

Ró Reid

Ró is an Irish visual artist that predominantly works with photo and video. She is currently undergoing two separate projects which centre themselves around reclaiming derelict space in the North inner-city and nude portraiture.

Ró is passionate about utilising space in the culturally rich North inner-city Dublin to make space for immigrants, working class, and artists to nurture the growth of subcultures.

Her Celtic / Pagan heritage inspires much of her nude work as she is inspired by malevolent creatures of folklore to depict her own mental or physical state.
