Triptych video monitor installation, durational performance, muslin cloth dough.
This video installation was made in the context of the INCUBATE studio residency in Draíocht,Blanchardstown. It depicted a performance in which the artist moved a mound of dough equivalent to her own body weight across the space in which the monitors would then sit to depict the exact video. This piece was a reflection on the artists relationship with their own body, and an attempt to visualise this. However it also spoke of broader themes involving the negotiations of women to take up space. Physically, vocally, politically and sexually.
